I want to give a special shout out to Dr. Jackson-Scott and all the staff at this care center. I had a bad experience with a different doctor at this location about a year ago, so my expectations were honestly not high, but this time around, I was very impressed. I was treated with kindness and so much attentiveness by the front desk staff, the nurses, and the assistants before Dr. Jackson-Scott even entered the room. And then when I explained to him that I have issues with injections, he listened (truly), calmed me down, and treated my laceration quickly and professionally, while making me laugh and juggling a lot of responsibilities. So thank you to Dr. Jackson-Scott and the whole crew at Doctors on Duty Santa Cruz! ✊️

I would like to give a big thank you to the gals at the Ocean Street Doctors on Duty! I was in need of a lot of extra assistance to accomplish getting my medical card updated. Seryna, Maria, Veronica and every gal that assisted in helping me, I thank you. You were kind, professional and patient with my situation. Folks do NOT hesitate to go here for top rate tender care.

The STAFF was AMAZING! They are so thorough and really care about what you are going through. I highly recommend this location to anyone questioning where to go. The doctor was ever so kind and extremely patient and enlightening, as well.

Doctor Jackson is very thorough and understanding. I have been dealing with a worker’s comp injury for over a year and he helped every step of the way! I recommend this facility and especially Dr Jackson!

i cannot say enough good things about DOD on ocean st, the staff is great and i have been getting great care from Seryna and Jami on a very difficult diagnoses, they stuck with it and helped get to the bottom of it, thank you again!!

I like that Doctors in Duty clinic allow Walk-ins option in addition to appointments. People get sick can't or rather SHOULDN'T be forced to wait a week or visit an emergency room just to get antibiotics for a fever or possibly something else that might be Urgent. IF YOU'RE A WALK-IN, I STRONGLY SUGGEST SHOWING UP EARLY MORNING. Don't arrive past 4 otherwise they might have a full list already and can't serve you. Also, I like receiving reminders about my appointments and the wait time is almost non-existent. In my experiences there, the staff were very polite and sweet!

Dr. Bob was great with my health feedback. If I have a concern I’ll definitely give him a call. And to the young girl who took my blood test, she did awesome. It was my first time I didn’t feel pain with the needle and my arm is bruise free.

Staff is always accommodating. Acknowledges us and does their best to get us in if I express a time crunch. Overall, my kids and I feel everyone cares.

I felt I received from PA Daniel Johnson excellent service and care. I felt listen to and not rushed or dismissed. He took his time and really focused on how I was feeling. I would recommend and him to anyone for care.

Friendly, sincere staff with true Santa Cruz charm. They were able to process a long list of referrals in a single visit, which was incredibly helpful. The care team genuinely cares and treats everyone with respect and compassion. Dr. Bob is extremely kind and an amazing provider you can truly count on. The staff here deserve a larger, upgraded space—the office is small, yet they manage everything with professionalism and heart. They work incredibly hard to keep things running smoothly and support one another. Truly doing angel-level work.
